What's a grid?

The new way to display and share photos and other images in a fun, creative and flexible way.
Grids work beautifully with PCs, tablets and smartphones.

whats a grid

There are countless ways to use grids - literally anything that involves images, whether it's to capture an event, display classmates, show adoptable dogs and cats or simply family photos. Grids are also available for voting, to run contests and play games.

Grids are great for all kinds of sharing. First, sharing individual pics or an entire grid is simple through all the major social networks. You or your visitors can do the sharing. Another way to share is by having people share their photos on your grid. You can create a grid that looks to others to upload to your grid and share. For example, you start a grid of people wearing your specialty hats and encourage all your customers to upload pictures wearing your hat. Or how about starting the family reunion grid and having everyone upload their photos?

You or others you allow can upload photos one at a time or a bunch at a time. You can also upload photos from your company Facebook page or Flickr and there's more to come! Of course, you can upload from your PC, tablet or smartphone.

All grids can easily run in the cloud, on a Facebook page and on your website with just a few clicks.

There's a grid option specifically designed for voting and ranking. The more votes someone or something gets, the closer they move to the center (large) square. So an ice cream store might want to post photos of all its flavors and ask its customers to vote for their favorites. Then, watch the winning flavor end up in the middle. Or you can ask your customers to upload cute or funny pics of themselves eating your ice cream and have people vote for the best photo.

There are two formats for contests with several more on the way. One is the Voting and Ranking Grid (mentioned above), but with prizes and all kinds of other bells and whistles. The other is our Explosion Grid, complete with sound effects. Watch your grid explode like a supernova!

There's no limit to the number of grids you can create, so go for it!

GridJungle is completely mobile optimized, so you can work with your grid, upload photos or share it using your smartphone, tablet or PC.

Your privacy is important. There are controls that allow you to decide who can see your grids and who can post photos.

Standard Grids

Standard grids are free and you can create as many as you like. By default the newest images start in the center and then spiral out from there. Of course, you also have a couple of cool tools that allow you to move images around. And, you have four different grid configuration choices for how you want your images to appear. Grids can easily run on your Facebook page, website and/or in the cloud.

Big Center Image (3 image sizes)

Big Center 3 SizesIf you expect your grid to be huge, you might want to choose this format, because it gets the most images on the screen. You can always switch later.

Big Center Image (2 image sizes)

Big Center 2 SizesIf you like the big photo, but want the other images to be the same size, this is for you. It will fill the screen faster.

All the same size

All the Same SizeIf you like uniformity, use this grid configuration. It provides a consistent clean look.

Two Sizes

2 SizesIf you don't want the big center photo, but expect your grid to be huge, this is a great solution.

Voting and Contest Grids

Standard Voting Grid

Voting grids are free and you can create as many as you like. These grids have one large image in the middle and then smaller images around it. People vote for their favorites and the one with the most votes will be in the center of the grid and then the images will spiral out from there, based on the number of votes they have. Voting grids can easily run on your Facebook page, website and/or in the cloud.

Grid Positions
Standard Ranking Grid

Ranking grids are free and you can create as many as you like. Ranking grids look like voting grids, but use dollars or points that you enter for ranking anything you like. This feature works great for salesperson, employee, customer or product rankings and a host of other applications. For example, you might want to have all your rep's mug shots in the grid and then load their sales numbers or new accounts closed by week. The ranking grid will automatically move them around the grid in order, with the top dog in the center. Ranking grids can easily run on your Facebook page, website and/or in the cloud.

Voting Contest Grid

  • Prizes are now added and you can offer a grand prize for the winner (the one who ends up in the middle) as well as several other prizes, based on where others end up.

  • An email address or signing up with Facebook is required to enter and there are other optional fields that you can require, like first and last name or city and state.
